King spoke directly to “…[T]hose who ask the question, "Aren't you a civil rights leader?" and thereby mean to exclude me from the movement for peace…. Our only hope today lies in our ability to recapture the revolutionary spirit and go out into a sometimes hostile world declaring eternal hostility to poverty, racism, and militarism.”
